The enclosure is made of three sections, including a fixed section at each end of the pool area, and a single operable panel that spans between them. The operable panel is 44 feet long, spans 107 feet across the pool area and moves 42 feet between the open and closed positions. Each corner of the operable panel rides on a 24-inch traction wheel powered by a one-horsepower electric motor. The traction drive system moves the panel 6 feet per minute, to fully open or close in approximately 7 minutes. |
